Q. How will you customise my training program to me? What information do you need?
A. Upon purchasing your online training program you’ll be sent a link to set up your Trainerize phone application. Once you have setup your account you will fill out a consultation form that will request information on your previous exercise history, training goals, any ongoing injuries and training preferences. You will also be sent a link to fill out a form regarding your nutrition. It will cover food preferences and if you are experiencing any digestive issues. This information will help me put together a comprehensive meal plan for you.
Before starting your training program I will have you take a quick fitness test. This will help me match your current level of fitness and conditioning to an appropriate training plan.
Q. How much contact will I have with you?
A. Upon signing up to your online personal training program, we’ll have an initial Skype session to discuss your goals and go through the training and nutrition regimen From there you will have direct contact with me through the instant messaging feature through the Trainerize phone application frequently as needed.
Q. I’ve seen a lot of cookie cutter programs, how will my program be different?
A. Your online personal training program will be customised to your training goal and exercise experience. Nutritionally each meal will be tailored to your food preferences and you caloric intake will be calculated to your body type, your goal and the amount of surplus or deficit that would be necessary to achieve your goals. Your macronutrients will also be rotated on a day by day basis depending on the type of training (or rest) you’ll be doing on a given day.
Q. How long do you think I will need to train with you?
A. That depends on your starting point and if you are working on long term or short goals. Some people just need a few months to get back into shape. Others who have not worked for a long period of time or have had never stepped in a gym may need may need 24 to 36months to reach their ultimate goal. That’s the great thing about the program you can start or stop anytime you want
Q. Can I be a beginner to fitness and still use this service?
A. Absolutely, as an online personal training customer you will have access to a full video library that will explain exactly how to perform each exercise in your program.
Each meal on your meal planner will be tailored to your cooking level.
Q. After I sign up how quickly can I get started?
A. Demand for coaching is generally high and each training regime takes some time to customise. Please allow 3-5 working days for the creation of your online training program
